Building Leaders in MicroInsurance
The ASKI Mutual Benefit Association, (MBA) Inc. is owned and managed by the members who come from the pool of ASKI clients, personnel and Board of Trustees. To ensure effective participative environment, members fill MBA positions in the Board and on field. To help us run field operations, MBA Coordinators are elected to work with ASKI branches. Duties and responsibilities of an MBA Coordinator are as follows:
 
CADYNAMCU FSA Empowerment at its Best
When ASKI talks about transformation- the organization really meant it. One of the success stories that ASKI is most proud of is the empowerment the organization has brought to CADYNAMCU Financial Services Association (FSA) located in Tumauini, Isabela- a mountainous province in the northern part of the Philippines which is about 9 hours away from Manila- the capital of the Philippines.
 
Barangay Palale: Amidst the Struggles, Amidst the Odds
ASKI is about and will continue to be its identity- transformation beyond microfinance. As part of the advocacy for the human rights of Indigenous Peoples, ASKI in partnership with Hagdan sa Pag-uswag Foundation Incorporated (HSPFI) in Mindanao, Taytay Sa Kauswagan Incorporated (TSKI) in Visayas & support from TEARFund New Zealand, and was chosen to lead a project focusing in organizing Indigenous People and identified five (5) areas of project. One of these is the community of Palale.

It is said that water comprises ¾ of earth's surface. How come in some areas, water seems so scarce? Thus, a need for a water system development to support the community arises. However, how will they be heard of geographical location and communication differences are the problems?

Filling the Year with Good Works
The Fiscal Year 2007 has been another good year marked by good works. In this year, we laid the groundwork for the expansion of ASKI into a network of institutions providing specialized products and services to fully serve the varied needs of ASKI communities.

Tapat ko, Linis Ko. Basura ko, Sagot Ko are some of the most popular catchphrases displayed in the public places to promote clean environment and waste management.
