ClientStory : Dina Lava

There are people who are easily weakened by the hard things brought about by life’s confusing circumstances.  Some people stopped and thought of it.  Some were discouraged by it, but not Dina Lava.

Dina Lava of Clamonte, Cabanatuan City is known for her sweet and delicious pastries.  She started her business in 1989 with only a basket and a tray on her hands.  She went to different government offices in Cabanatuan City to sell her products.  As she was doing it, she encountered many discouraging situations but Dina took it positively.  The unique taste of her self produced pastries and special merienda such as spaghetti, pansit and native cakes called the attention of the people and later became her regular customers.

Some of her regular customers then ordered pastries for “pasalubong” and gift for their loved ones.  Dina needed capital to sustain her business and ASKI provided it to her.  Not only that, Dina appreciates the trainings and seminars provided by ASKI to her for free because there are many things she learned from those.  She is also very thankful for the trust given to her by ASKI when they order from her the foods and snacks during ASKI staff and clients meetings and seminars.

She also appreciates the opportunity of attending trade fairs because through that she earned money and at the same time her products are exposed and promoted.   He patience and success, with the support of her family, opened an opportunity for them to have a restaurant, catering business and new service/delivery vehicle.

Dina’s dream is for their business to establish a name that would be remembered and placed in the heart of their customers.  This is why Dina is giving her best to make her products and service in quality and in reasonable prices.
