| July 16, 2010 - Twenty five young students, who are children of ASKI’s clients, took the qualifying examination for the Knowledge for Inspiring Leadership, Opportunities and Spirituality (KILOS) Program . These children passed the ASKI-wide preliminary screening conducted by the ASKI Foundation, which was spearheaded by the ASKI Foundation Director Ms. Babylyn Dela Cruz, and the Education Program Unit Manager, Mr. Orlando Cruz. Mr. Noel Embing, APPEND Program Director, and Mr. Rolando Victoria, ASKI Executive Director, grace the examination’s orientation. |

| Now on its 5th year, the program aims to support the development of deserving young leaders amidst poverty by providing them with opportunities to obtain college education for free. KILOS is sponsored by the Gordon and Helen Smith Foundation in partnership with the Alliance for Philippine Partners in Enterprise Development (APPEND) and ASKI. |

| Those who will pass the examination will be among the lucky scholars who will be given the opportunity to study in any of the top 4 universities in the Philippines and hopefully, even in universities abroad. |
