ASKI is one of the MFI's accredited by the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) that provides quality health service for its clients though Philhealth KaSAPI program (Kalusugang Sigurado at Abot-Kaya sa Philhealth Insurance).
The MOA signing was held on June 28, 2006 followed by a training for main implementers on August 3-4, 2006.
Being the first Organized Group (OG) who passed the financial and operational criteria set and assessed by PhilHealth, ASKI believes that the said program will not only increase the loan portfolio of the organization but will likewise enlighten the commmunities about the importance of health towards development.
As of today, there are 1,317 clients enrolled in PhilHealth KaSAPI Program from Region 3 branches of ASKI.
