October 18, 2008 - RPN 9 crew headed by Mrs. Lorna Gomez, the Executive Producer, conducted a televised interview covering Alalay Sa Kaunlaran (ASKI) Incorporated and successful clients from the San Rafael and Talavera Branch.

The People's Credit and Finance Corporation (PCFC), which assist in the development of microfinance institutions and micro finance industry, referred ASKI to be featured by RPN 9 in the Small and Medium Micro-Finance (SMMF) program of Malacañan.

The purpose of the said interview is to showcase microfinance institutions like ASKI- its operation, its purpose and loan products/services offered to clients as well as featuring client success stories.

San Rafael and Talavera Branch Managers Mr., Michael Fajardo and Mrs. Elena Velasco, together with the Area Managers, Mr. Dexter Ong and Mr. Jasper Santos were interviewed regarding the operational aspects of each branch.

Mr. Rolando Victoria, ASKI Executive Director granted an interview with RPN 9 regarding the corporate profile, vision and mission, and the values of the company.

Success clients were featured in the persons of Mr. Danilo Miranda (chicharon business in Bulacan), Mr. Ricardo Santos (candy making business in Bulacan) and Mrs. Analyn Bulaong (palay trading and sari-sari store owner from Nueva Ecija) to inspire small and medium entrepreneurs around the Philippines.

These clients were chosen based on how well they manage to make their businesses successful and how good they maintain their client record from ASKI.

The plugging will be televised in RPN 9, Channel 4, and IBC 13 four (4) times a week for three (3) months.
