Sagip Kalikasan, a yearly tree planting activity hosted by ASKI Palayan clients Dingalan Chapter was successfully held at DENR Compound, Barangay Caragsacan, Dingalan, Aurora last October 10, 2008 despite the bad weather condition.

An activity which aims to advocate environmental protection and preservation for a  sustainable environment as well as strengthen the camaraderie among ASKI clients.

Registration of guests started the activity followed by a program participated by an estimated 372 clients and 35 invited staff and guests from ASKI Board of Trustees, Palayan Branch and Head Office.

The Sagip Kalikasan Tree Planting activity was spear-headed by ASKI's Executive Director, Mr. Rolando B. Victoria

“Through this tree planting activity, all of you can see our genuine concerns in protecting our environment and how united and participative ASKI Palayan clients are,” Barangay Caragsacan Chairman Jose Fabros said.

ASKI Executive Director Mr. Rolando Victoria and the Board of Trustees Chairman and President Dr. Rolando Veneracion gave their remarks to the hundreds of guests and clients present in the said activity.

It is not only showing how you wanted to uplift your lives but you are also showcasing how good ASKI Palayan clients Dingalan Chapter are as a team. Continue your enthusiasm and never stop reaching your goals. ASKI is here to help you,” Mr. Victoria assured the clients.
Although the program was paused for numerous times, it never stopped ASKians in planting narra trees despite the unpredictable weather condition and slippery slopes.

The tree planting activity was a project of Barangay Caragsacan clients in their active participation with the ASKI's Environment Management System.
